I have bought a famtstic enamel plaque set in a silver, maybe silverplated frame. Probably an exhibition or master apprentice piece and dated 1926. The silver (plate) is unmarked but carries the scratched signature “DALT”. The enamel plaque looks British but based on the (indecipherable) signature I think it is Italian. Does anyone know who Dalt might be? Thank you

This looks like someone was scratching in the name Dali. A woman with a big fish might just be right up Salvador Dali's crazy tree, perhaps during the early working years. Not sure the marks have anything to do with a smith's identity or even a retailer.
