Mine was finding this silver egg spoon with a metal detector at aged 10 (quite a few decades have since passed!) which I still have in all it’s found dented, scratched condition. J and S savory 1853. It wasn’t for many years did I think I want more silver then it has spiralled out of control into the thousands but a passion that never ends even to the point of making my own these days.....

Interior design and decoration: antique furniture, art glass, Oriental carpets, paintings, and of course, silver, either in display cabinets or placed on antique furniture, but never alone, always in combination with art glass on Victorian embroidery and lace table cloths.
