Best books about silver

I have a book about antique silver, "The book of old silver" and I want to expand a bit my knowledge, about manufacturing, history, different countries... which book would you recommend to buy? which is in you opinion the most complete? or if you will recommend more than one which they will be?

Hi, you can't go wrong spending time browsing this site. The contributors are so knowledgeable you will learn something every time. There is a good resource here on digital books, also The Smithsonian Libraries have a lot of digital books on silver, makers and history. It also allows you to download them to read as PDFs or put them on your kindle. Of course you cannot beat getting out there and looking at silver up close. Museums, markets, or browsing the internet.
