Hi, you can't go wrong spending time browsing this site. The contributors are so knowledgeable you will learn something every time. There is a good resource here on digital books, also The Smithsonian Libraries have a lot of digital books on silver, makers and history. It also allows you to download them to read as PDFs or put them on your kindle. Of course you cannot beat getting out there and looking at silver up close. Museums, markets, or browsing the internet. Good luck.
