Hi there
I have a few antique (c.1850) silver and brass pieces that need gilding. I know many places offer a gold plating service, but I'm looking for a finish as close in appearance to the original mercury gilding finish (rich yellowy orange colour in a matt/satin finish).
I'm based in London, UK, and was wondering if anyone can recommend a gilder in the UK.
