Hasselbring unusual item need help

I have what is a John Hasselbring sterling and stag piece. It appears to be an alcohol burner for possible jewelry making. I have not ever seen one of these items made by Hasselbring. Has anyone ever seen one of these and how rare is it? Any info you can give will be helpful
