Hi I have bought a silver teapot. not being an expert I do not know what the m,arkings mean. I have a capital A then B (separately) then one i cannot make out looks like it was an image rather than a letter, then what looks like an S but with a diagonal line through it so it is in the shape of an 8 but it is not the number 8. underneath it has four numbers 8 8 then 97 and underneath those, the number 4. above the hallmark is a V shape that looks like an arrow head. can anyone help please??? thanks very much. i don't know whether it is silver or silver plated.
