Tea set by Sebastian Garrard, 1907 —ball feet?

The set comprises a tea pot, creamer and sugar bowl.
NOT SURE IF THERE WERE BALL FEET. Have seen the same pattern (plate, though) by Garrard without ball feet, as well as many similar patterns by other makers without feet, even if the base is much narrower than this and the bottom not even raised. But still in doubt whether ball feet were probably removed (one or two damaged and then easier to remove them all than repairing). On the other hand, it would mean a lot of filing off and polishing.
But the following details speak AGAINST ball feet:
1. Fine scratching at the base rim, commensurate with age, and use over many years, unless ball feet were removed decades ago.
2. No sign of filing and no remnants of solder, the base looks intact in all pieces and the base is raised on the lowest belt of silver.
3. The form of the base, tall enough, speaks against ball feet in all pieces; esthetically consistnet with the form. Ball feet would look grotesque and really not neccessary with already raised and rather tall base; but still not sure.
You can help is you have seen the same Garrard pattern.
Thanks for helping.

I generally associate ball feet with itens that have no base, wherein the balls are attached directly to the body or stubby legs. Ball feet on this pot would be truely vile and if damaged would be very likely to leave marks. Such damage would be difficult to disguise by fileing. Moreover there would be either a shadow of the solderleft or slights "dips" in the upended bottom edge where they were removed. Unless you have some reason to suspect it has been altered, accept is as a pretty if common form of teapot and enjoy.

Thank you so much; this is exactly what I thought, but there are so many different shapes and patterns and ball feet attached indiscriminately. Some of ball feet were attached to the bottom rim, not always on flat base, but in those cases the base was really narrow, often only one belt of silver soldered to the bottom and then ball feet.
I did some silversmithing myself and you are right about it being difficult to disguise remnants of solder.
I always look at the bottom under 10x magnification and search for thousands of scratches in all directions consistent with years and years of use.The same may be applied to glass - one can never fake what time does.
I have no doubts now; there are so many shapes and I just wanted to make sure and hear an expert opinion from those who are more familiar with British silver.
Btw.I saved this set from being sold as scrap metal to the Chinese who buy huge amount of silver paying a bit less than stock exchange price per troy ounce; It was paid as scrap silver. It would have been a shame to melt Garrard; they even wanted to remove the handle and then calculate the price. What`s happening to this world? We can only guess but then, there are so many fakes of important silver - not from this Garrard, though.
Thank you again, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
