Made in Mexico

A company called Celsa Corp. of America, based at 1 East 57th St, New York City, produced some interesting modernist flatware in the mid-twentieth century. Three of these patterns were Avanti, Trenza and Brillante. According to a company brochure, they were "precision finished by Swiss engineers in Mexico." The wares are marked "STERLING / CELSA / MEXICO." The problem is: I cannot find any record of a company by this name in databases of American corporations. Does anyone know the history of this company?
