I found this spoon today, and cannot find what mark on back mean...:)
So please help...:)

Welcome to the Forum.

That is an engraved monogram of a former owner.

Are there no other marks on the spoon?

So how can i get the name of former owner...:)

There is one more stamp, but is very small...I think is written ALPACCA, i mean that is for sure and something like DERNDOFF, or GEND...I don't know, something like that...And i thin there is small bear stamp...:)

Dognose is right, please provide pictures in the future. A decent camera with macro zoom in the price range above 150$ will do it. Or follow the guideline from Theodorich, using a magnifing glass in front of the lens.

Anyway, for this post: Your spoon is silver plated. Alpacca (please google it!) is a base metal for silver plated items. The manufacturer is probably Berndorf, an Austrian company who produced silver plated flatware.

No chance you can find anything about the previous owner just by the Monogram. If it is a heritage from your family you may have a chance by asking around. Monograms in the style like yours were fashionable from around 1900 onwards, I would suggest a date between 1900 and 1939, but it could be also much later or even earlier.

Again, the more pictures, the more information, the better.

I found what it says on back: Its "Alpacca Berndorf"...:D
