Where to post if unsure of the country?

I posted about my miniature silver chest under German Silver (viewtopic.php?f=22&t=27239d) because the only match I could find for the name stamped on it (Culmbach) is a town in Germany, but I realize now that Culmbach could be the maker's name.

Is there someplace else that I should post it if I'm uncertain about the country it's from?
