Info on marks

Postby Dizzyup17 » Thu Dec 22, 2011 10:59 am

I do not have pictures yet, but I have a question. I have a teapot on stand and the markings on the bottom do state Walker and Hall in a flag. There is a serial # below that 11245 which dates it 1884. Now the question is the silver content. There is a 9 above the 2 and a 5 below that. Does that make it 925 silver? All is hand stamped.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Images will be required before any postive answer can be supplied, but your teapot sounds likely to be silver plated only.

www.tinypic.com is recommended.
