Pat, how about sizes? I have seen small (about 3X2") versions similar to those from Peru and a large one (6X9") with a different weave but similar corners from Japan.

She has found online several clutch / purse bags of similar construction from Thailand.

Hmmm, Now I will have to retrieve mine and check it more carefully. As I recall it was in 900/1000 silver.
