Anti-tarnish chemical

Postby buff » Sun Dec 05, 2010 9:22 pm

I have a silver chest in which the silver tarnishes. I believe it needs the cloth liner impregnated with the chemical that prevents tarnishing. Can anyone please tell me what to use and where to get it.

Many places sell strip impregnated with a sulphur absorbing chemical. That would be a lot easier than relining your chest.

I am not looking to reline my silver chest. I simply want to spray the lining I have. Whatever the liner of a silver chest has on it seems to last for years while the life of the strips is only 6 months.
