I am seeking information about Richard Oucherfield, a Sheffield silversmith operating in London and Sheffield in the first decade of the 1800s. If anyone has any information I would be pleased to hear it.

Hello Catherine,

As far as I can see there is no record of this man in the main reference books of maker's marks registered at Goldsmiths Hall London or the Sheffield Assay Office. Perhaps he was a journeyman working for other masters who had registered a mark?
