Donating Norwegian Silver Flatware

Postby drewdahl » Mon Sep 06, 2010 8:05 pm

I have a variety of table spoons (Gustav Hellstrom & Co. 830 S 1904), more table spoons (either Erling Christopher or Brodrene Lohne 830 S), some demitasse tea spoons (with the head of a guy on the handle and lots of leafs) and others that I would like to donate someplace if these things are even worth donating. Is there any kind of a place in the U.S. where I can send this stuff?

Thanks,

Drew

Hi Drew,

Welcome to the Forum.

Try taking a look through the listings at viewforum.php?f=43

I'm sure one of these fine institutions would be delighted to accept your gift.

Regards Trev.

You might take some pictures and contact the Vesterheim in Decorah, Iowa ~ if they're not interested, perhaps they could point you in the right direction.

Their email address is at the bottom of this page: http://vesterheim.org/index.php
