Set to Latin-English, the universal translator detects Romanian and reads the motto as "My Chance Spear". Unless I am mistaken, your kopf mark has the city code letter "K" for Klangenfurt in Southern Austria, a site (historically) of cross cultures. The lone tower (less than a castle) and the dragon happen to be part of the lore of the city's founding...see the coat of arms as well as the lindewormwell monument. Perhaps this family resided in the city and wanted to relate to the story of the slaying of the dragon (with a lucky spear?)...in the monument, the guy facing the dragon is hiding a weapon and ready to strike. The whole Romanian (family origins?) connection would be conjecture at this point, but there were reasons (war, nationalism) why someone might pack their bags with the silver and get out quick (trying for the hereditary homelands?). And now it's your's to spin this yarn. We'll have to wait to see what the heraldic specialists can pick apart.
