Lion holding flag

Postby JanGroen » Wed Dec 20, 2017 11:14 am

Good day
I found a fork with this family crest. Any idea what family it could be?

Hi Jannie,

It appears to be connected with the banker, Lieutenant-Colonel Bernard Tindal Bosanquet, he used the same crest and motto. Hopefully someone can expand on that.

Can you post an image of the fork's marks?

Thanks for quick reply. It is a Dixon silverplated fork of 14 cm. Not sure how old it is.
