As to the girl...do you think comb in hair and holding tambourine ( implying Spanish Familial roots?) or rolled hair waving salver-like object? Nice aquisition regardless!
Lovely item. The engraving is a crest, which is the top part of a coat of arms. It also shows the coronet of an earl. It seems to me that this is the crest of KEITH, the Earls of Kintore, in the peerage of Scotland. Kind regards.
