Monogram deciphering.

Postby paulh » Sun Oct 13, 2013 1:42 pm

I know this is not a family crest, but I have been asked by a friend if can decipher this monogram. Any help would be appreciated. Just a few clues; it is on a silver plated tea glass holder from 1895, which is currently in Moscow, as it has been for living memory.

Perhaps it is Cyrillic alphabet for the letters A M Pe. The final letter being like the Greek Pi. Kind regards.
