Crest - Arm holding a ring

Postby kcole814 » Mon Apr 30, 2012 1:04 pm

Based on the hallmark (Minerva's head) and maker's mark (E - un canif de bureau - P), I'm guessing it can't be older than the late 20's? However, I'm not sure about the crest. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hermann Göring standing with Hitler was greatly reduced by 1942 and after he withdrew from the military and political scene Göring primarily focused on the acquisition of property and artwork, much of which was confiscated from Jewish victims of the holocaust. After World War II, Göring was convicted of war crimes and crimes against humanity at the Nuremberg Trials. He was sentenced to death by hanging, but committed suicide by ingesting cyanide the night before the sentence was to be carried out.
I personally would have the crest removed or even better the personalized and most likely stolen item melted down.

Hi,

The dictionary defines a hypocrite as someone who "pretends to be better than he really is or to be pious, virtuous without really being so." A hypocrite is someone who says one thing and does the opposite. Please do not say sorry. Money speaks louder. We better say nothing.
