hello - I recently bought this sauce ladle and the engraving and motto intrigue me and I would like to know more. The motto is not clear but my reading is AVENUM FRANTUR.WORIAI. Translating sites (Latin) on the web have not identified the words. I would appreciate your help to identify the organization to which the crest and motto belong. 09mbar

This was difficult because the actually motto is Avi Numerantur Avorum. The crest and motto belong to Norton, Lord Grantley. Cheers.
