Identify Maker and Family Crest

Hi there can anyone help with identifying the maker of this dish and family crest? Greatly appreciated!

ls it me or is there something not right here ? the makers mark looks like John Gibson Leadbetter (Grimwades) who entered his mark in 1757 although it is not easy to see in the book
The "Date Letter" N appears to be 1728 but this is far to early, on closer inspection is that a Leopards Head Crowned or something else? and it appears to be wrong for that period, Lion Passant ? if it has be rubbed then the other marks look quite deep still, and is that CoT?
l look forward to other replies, maybe l am not looking closer enough.

Have seen first then from beginning on I had the impression «Hanau! ».

Makers? There are some one; e.g. Storck & Sinsheimer/Neumann, Weinranck & Schmidt, ...

Concrete solution - seems to me - would be come soon.

I was told that a few weeks from now on, would be published a book on Hanau silver history, silver industries, workshop, marks, pseudo marks - very sounded results of intense research. Sources: Not DGoV!

I haven't - as I remember - any Hanau silver in my collection. But I wait as like for X-mass on this book.

Co-joined HL and N look like Herman Lang, Nurnburg 1650 -1700. But what of CT and pineapple? Perhaps all spurious marks!

Hello

By own experience I know perfect the difficulty of punches - maybe out of this «925-1000» started.

I see and read «buckler's» contributions - he is one of the few who look on detail.

This «bunch of grapes with typical vine leaf» is never an Augsburg «pinecone» nor e.g. a «pineapple».

Nearly all of us have to learn that a punch is a «composition» of «details» - also if it is a letter punch only.

Hi there, Thanks everyone for helping figure out the markings. I haven't quite understood, Is there another word for "Punches" I guess I'm still new. I hope to still get some more solid info for this piece.

The marks are indeed German. This is the crest and coat of arms for FUGGER of Augsburg. For examples, search for Fugger wappen in Google Image. Cheers.
