Determine KA initials on German Silverware

Post by scttmccly512 »

Hi, new member here.

I've come into possession of these pieces of silverware discovered in the bunker of Carinhall around 1990/1991. I can vaguely make out the proofs/markings, but the initials are stumping me. Could anyone be of assistance on these? I greatly appreciate the input.

P.S. I can't seem to get a picture to be pasted here using BBCode [img] since they're on my local and I don't run a web server with pictures of the silverware.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

You can use a 3rd-party site to host your pictures. https://postimages.org is recommended (click 'Share', then copy and paste the 'Hotlink for forums' code to embed your images).

Hello, this is a run-of-the-mill monogram which does not give away anything. Beware of fake provenance reports concerning alleged nazi stuff. If there were bunkers a Carinhall to be looted they were looted by German locals after the destruction of Carinhall by German soldiers and later by Russian troops in 1945. There was nothing left to be looted after that. Regards, Bahner
