His script mark of 3 April 1776 is given in Grimwade in section IV, page 284 but not illustrated
In the biographies, p715 Grimwade states he also had a Roman Capital mark, seen on a pair of buckles in the Maufe Collection.
The mark below is another example believed to be his, also on a buckle, of around 1760 with the post 1756 Lion Passant .
A similar example has been seen on a pair of sugar nips with the 1739 -1756 Lion Passant , which would indicate that the Roman Capital mark is probably a lost register entry
