Last but not least for today !

Hi again !

A silver monogram spoon.

Sorry again for the substandard photograph - any tips on improvements ???

Lion and Crown - again Sheffield.
X - matches exactly with that of 1865 ( shield also )
CB&S - Cooper Brothers and Sons.

Now the date mark matches perfectly at 1865 yet the makers are regsitered as early twentieth century which obviously creates conflict in the two pieces of information Ive found.

What type of spoon is this?
Any help appreciated !

I can't quite make out the photo, but I'd guess from what you said that it's the 1940 X which fits in with the slightly art deco atyle.

The type of spoon depends on its size. Less than 15cm and it's a teaspoon.
