Hello Tom,


This is the mark of A. Marks & Co. (Registered 25th July 1900). They were factors rather than makers. i.e. they had things made under their name and with their maker's/sponsor's mark. They had retail premises at 18 - 20 Thomas St. Manchester.

I would be interested to know what piece your mark is on.
