My first post - I am seeking help to confirm the origins of this small folding/ fruit knife. I am clearing my father's estate and I am assuming this is a family heirloom (his heritage is English and Scottish).
I am assuming it is silver and that I am looking at are the standard and duty mark - but why is there no city mark?
Also what is the handle likely to be made of? it appears to be a hard plastic but is too old to be bakelite?
Any assistance would be much appreciated!
