I am able to identify my spoon on your web site, my spoon has the castle, thistle, small letter k and head then the initials WM. On your site the initials precedes the other marks, on my spoon they are at the end of the marks.

Hi Katie,

Items are sent to the assay office in an unfinished state and must struck with the mark of the person, or persons, taking the responsibility for the submission. Following the assay, providing that the item passes that test, the piece is struck with the hallmarks of the assay office. These are usually stuck at a convenient space near the maker's/sponsor's mark. It may be to the right, left, above, below, or away from that mark, but usually as close as possible.

Trev.
