Hello Bookmark,
It seems no forum member has a record of who registered the DJ mark. It's a modern one and therefore unlikely to be recorded at all outside the Assay Office itself.
Your best course now would be to try Goldsmiths Hall direct. The Deputy Warden's Email address is admin@londonassayoffice.uk
If you have success there would you post the result on the forum please.

JD modern makers mark

Postby bookworm » Wed Mar 11, 2009 5:58 am

Many thanks Mike for the contact - JD was apparently the mark of Dix Jewellery, trading as Harrison Brothers & Hewson. They first registered at the London assay office in 1958; their registration expired in 2006.

I suspect you have also solved the ownership of another of my posts relating to HBH mark: thank you again! I have emailed a contact passed on to me by the London office and hope for confirmation.
