Silver Fruit knife made by whom ?

Postby Browntoa » Sat May 17, 2008 8:56 am

got an old fruit knife that as far as I can work out is made in Sheffield in either 1794 or 1904 (I think the later ? ) as it has an M in that style. There seem to be several manufacturers with T.M

its ia small folding knife with a white pearl handle which has a badge like a coat of arms embedded in the middle with ne markings on it

I make it the Sheffied crown and lion , then the gothic style M , then T.M (or T M)

Image

can anyone help me decipher it futher

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Can't help with the maker but can confirm that it is 1904.
