Makers Intials

Postby anna63 » Sun Jan 13, 2008 9:10 am

Hi,
I am new to silver marks but I think I have made some progress as to how old the top of my perfume bottle is.
But I cannot find any makers with the intial T.W for London in 1869.
Any help would be appreciated.
Is there a knack to photographing silver marks as I cannot manage using my macro at 3m.
Many thanks,
anna63

Hi,

Very likely to be Thomas Whitehouse who entered his mark in 1848, he specialised in making these sort of fittings.
