I have a sterling piece manufactured in Birmingham in 1853 with a manufacturer mark of SB&S Ltd. Does anyone know what it stands for and share any information on the manufacturer? Thanks!
S Blanckensee & Son Ltd, 8 Great Charles Street, Birmingham. Later also 14, 15 Frederick Street and 72,73 Great Hampton Street. Jewellers, silversmiths, watch makers and importers.
