Henochsberg Johannesburg Swimming Medal

Post by JanGroen »

Good day

One of my medals in my collection. This one was designed by A.J. HENOCHSBERG & Co. in Johannesburg. This designer also had a office in Basing House, 17 & 18, Basing-hall Street, London. It was won in the S.A TEAM RACE CHAMPIONSHIP 1909/1910, WON BY TRANSVAAL, R.J.RALPH. Although it is stuck in copper, this is a first price medal. It has a beautiful springbok on the front, is 32.5mm in diameter.
