Can Anyone help with this hallmark on these miniature goblets

Postby mygoldrocks » Mon Jan 06, 2020 7:40 pm

Hi,
Can Anyone help with this hallmark on these miniature goblets, not sure if they are real hallmarks for silver or of the age?

Hi Richard,

I've embedded your images as very few members will click on such links:

Hi Trev,
Thanks for sorting that for me, is there a guide on here on how to embed photo's so that I can do it properly next time?
Also, thanks for the info on the silversmith, I thought that they might of been fake marks because they seemed to be copying British hallmarks with the lion passant and the anchor but only have the purity mark of 900.
Regards
Richard

Hi Richard,

Taking another look at the coding for for your images I now see that they were just missing the [img]-[/img] tags.

Hi Trev,

I have another mystery mark to post later in the week and will try using the [img]-[/img] tags.

Thanks for your help
