Scottish Provincial? John Glenny of Montrose?

Postby bstaunto » Thu Jul 30, 2015 8:24 pm

Hey team,

Just picked up this OE pattern Tablespoon. I was wondering if it was John Glenny of Montrose...both marks are similar to his that I've seen, but don't fully match. Any ideas?

Hi Ben,

Yes, that will be one of the marks used by John Glenny of Montrose. He appears to have three styles of his initials, 'IG', 'JG', and 'JG' in script.

Thanks Trev!

I need to get a copy of the most recent copy of the book/cd.

Ben
