Lawson & Co Mark - looking for more info

The silver tray bears a Lawson & Co 1845 mark and I'm trying to find out more information about the company. It looks different than other Lawson & Co marks I can find online so I'm not sure this one is actually the same Scottish company. And help or information is much appreciated. Thank you!
