Newbie here, need help with confirmation & ID

Hello everyone, After a few hours of reading your fantastic website, I feel that I might have identified this mark correctly:
Image
I think it is from Edinburgh, Scotland, it is .925 Sterling (according to the thisle mark), the letter j means it is from 1815 and the Duty Mark is from 1786 to 1821. Did I get that correct? The only thing I cannot figure out is what the "WM" maker is.

Next I have this and simply cannot figure out anymore than the Lion mark (.925) and what I think is the duty mark of 1838 - 1890

Thanks for your help,
apPaul

I don't know the maker on your Scottish spoon (poss William McKenzie).
On your other spoon though: the leopard's head means assayed in London then the date letter for 1850 then queen Victoria duty mark and then the maker's mark of William Robert Smiley.
The items themselves look like fiddle pattern table spoons. Could we see a picture of the complete pieces.

Yes, the spoons are called fiddle and shell, and the forks are just fiddle pattern.

apPaul,
Welcome to the forum.
In future, please, only one maker query per post.
Thanks, Admin
