SHEFFIELD SILVER PLAQUE 1839/40 Confused about maker, ??

Sheffield, 1839/40 Regalia silver plaque, Confused about the maker, IS no dot in between letters! Can anyone help with this maker identification possibly John Shore, John Sykes, Joseph Shemeld. Or JOHN STANIFORTH but no DOT

Good candidates for your piece are John Settle & William Hatfield. They registered their mark IS in Sheffield on 16 June 1802. They were plate workers trading from 16 Scotland Street, Sheffield. The mark as shown in the Sheffield Assay Office Register is a broadly similar to your image.
