Help required to id maker's mark.

I would be grateful for any thoughts on who the maker of this dessert fork might be.

Hi Martin,

The likely candidate is James Burbury, he registered in the same year that your fork was assayed, 1830. Jackson's does have a mark for him, noted from a dessert knife assayed in 1831, but with no pellet. Is that a pellet on your mark, or just a small imperfection?

Thanks for the reply, it is definitely a pellet as I have a set of 6 forks & knives and they all have the same mark.
