Letters on front of spoon

Hi,

I'm currently researching this spoon (see photo links below). My research has found that it is silver and was made by Pinder Brothers, Sheffield in 1914 (please correct me if I'm wrong).

However, I'm wondering what the lettering on the front of the spoon ('RBC'?) means. If anyone knows I'd appreciate the info - thanks!

Yours attributions on maker, place and date seems to bee correct.

The »RBC« monogram in script seems to me, to be "normal" - if it could be attributed as e.g. »Royal British Consulate« I think not. But I'm not British. Maybe they've had more formal insignia, e.g. a crest on their cutlery?

I see no reason to think the letters are anything other than the owner's initials.
