Silver sugar tongues

Postby Jen D » Wed Apr 15, 2009 8:35 am

Can anyone help me identify the first mark on these tongues? I think the rest of the marks date it to Sheffield 1898. I think the feint mark might be a griffin? but can't find anything relating. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Try getting another shot of the maker's mark from different angle, the one you've posted has the light reflecting, making an opinion very difficult.
