Unknown Maker Sheffield sterling asparagus tongues

Please help me identify the maker's mark on these lovely asparagus tongues. They were made in Sheffield in 1945, however, I cannot identify the silversmith from the maker's mark "H(BA)Ld". Can anyone help, please?

If you go to http://www.silvermakersmarks.co.uk/index.htm and go on to Sheffield and further to H and HB, you will see that in that database there is also no identification for your hallmark H(BA)Ld. So it will be hard to find out.

Thank you for that helpful link Margaux, the hallmark is on the list but without saying any more about the silversmith. I guess I have to contact the Sheffield Assay Office for further info.
