Unidentified Military Cap Badge?

Post by dartsil »

Hello all

I think many years ago I had one of these but so much time has elapsed I have forgot what it is connected to, I am assuming its a cap badge and may be military associated?

Hallmarked from Sheffield in 1841 with the makers mark being William Briggs.

Thanks in advance for any help with it:

Regards,
Colin.

It's an Ancient Order of Foresters (masonic) sash badge.
