I just received this spoon which stylistically reminds me of Enkhuizen but it only has one blurry mark. I know this is also a popular style of spoon that was frequently copied later on. I took a gamble but the wear in the bowl seems old and honest to me. It does have the later dolphin in a triangle mark on the front near the stem and bowl connection. Also, are there any good references for Enkhuizen silversmiths? Any help would be appreciated.
So far there are no good books about; Alkmaar, Enkhuizen or Hoorn or so called silver of the Noorderkwartier or West Frisian silversmiths. Perhaps in the near future.
