Hi welcome to the forum. It appears to be a 18th century silver biscuit box, town mark for Amsterdam, year letter S for 1752. The lion rampant crowned shield, the province mark of Holland, to indicate 1st standard of silver 934/00 fine. The maker's mark, I believe could be, although damaged, FD in monogram for; Dirk van Forstenberg, born 1705 and registered silversmith in Amsterdam 1729- after 1754 he died. Below an example of one of his maker's mark used;
