Hi Thomas,

Jesus's Lesson at Jacob's Well
Heraldic Pelican in her piety

Although the marks are worn, we still can recognize the town mark of Schoonhoven; the shield with four lion's rampant facing left. The date letter F could be for 1779. The maker’s mark is beyond recognition, now I have no access to my library, will confirm after 24th of June. A clear and enhanced image of the maker's mark, taken by daylight, no flash could be helpful.
For Schoonhoven see:

Hi Thomas,

Yes, I can confirm; date letter F for 1779, maker’s mark IM for Jan Mesman, registered 1769 till around 1806. Known maker of snuff boxes. He later run a grocery shop.

Best,

Peter
