Postby silverfan » Wed May 01, 2013 10:28 am

Hi all,
my mocca spoon in Art Deco style ? is marked with the sword mark, I think 1906-1953 and a maker's mark CH2. Who is it?

Hi Silverfan,

CH2 in a rectangle with cut corners for: Casper Aarnout Hackenberg, located in the city of Middelburg and registered during 1868-1899.

Hi Oel,
thank you very much for your fast reply. So the sword mark must be that used from 1814-1905 for small objects in silver 833. I had never thought that a spoon would have been produced in that style before 1900.
