Hello
sorry for my english.
I would like some help to understand the hallmarks of this silver spoon,I think it's dutch but i'm not sure,we can see on the right side that i believe to be a town mark with the lion and (it's a little bit difficult to see without a Magnifying glass) a crown on the top of the lion but it's verry erased and you can just guess at the beginning i thought germany but it looks like more a dutch lion for me,on the left side there's an A and that's all so if you have any idea it will be very nice to share because i'm lost..
Thank you
if pictures don't show up thanks to tell me! I'll try to post a better picture of the entire spoon later!

Hello Carl,

Sorry but not Dutch, for more information about Dutch hallmarks, please see;
http://www.925-1000.com/Fnetherlands_Date_Code.html
and look at 'examples of Dutch Hallmarks'.
I believe your spoon to be a copy of a Birth spoon with bogus/pseudo marks.

Oel
