I have a silver box from my grandmother and there are three hallmarks, the first is a WH with what look like two bags below in a square box. The second is a lion facing right in a 6 sided box. The third is a Minerva's helmet with a M or W on it. I wasn't able to add pictures.

Any ideas?

Hi Doug,

Although your photos are not very clear, herewith some information regarding the so called peppermint or pill box
Minerva head with the regional assay office letter M for the city of Schoonhoven. Dutch Lion Passant above 2 for silver 83.3 % pure silver fineness, mark used 1814-1953
Could the maker’s mark read WH above 33? If so for one of the marks used by; Widow H. J. van Halteren also known as Teuntje Streef. Mark registered 1863/1895, city of Schoonhoven. I believe if you look carefully you will find a Dutch date letter.

I believe the WH is above a 33, that was my first thought. I will look for a date letter.
