Help please to identify mark

Can anyone help please. This item bears the marks in the phot and import marks for Chester 1911 . It might be French mark

Hi Johnc,

F.B 34 (with dot) is the makers’ mark for F. de Groot Boersma, cities of Sneek and Bussum. This particular mark was only used in 1923.
F B 34 (with out dot) for the same maker F. de Groot Boersma, cities of Sneek and Bussum, date entry 1909-1949.
Minerva head with the regional assay office letter F for Leeuwarden
